Few days ago, we exchanged on a hitchhiking forum about gestures that have a very different meaning in other countries. We then realized that we had some funny stories to tell, small moments of embarrassment, misunderstanding, misinterpretation because of cultural differences … Moments that we wanted to share, in our list of the most beautiful misunderstandings in hitchhiking!
Because travel has always been synonymous with cultural exchange and human mutual aid, we made a point to talk about this touching and beautiful subject!

May 2020. A decision that led us to question the future of this network…
While traveling, being able to communicate and being understood can quickly become a real headache, especially when you or your interlocutor do not speak the same language!
